The TFF is returning to Katherine, Friday 9 - Sunday 11 February 2018.

The Travelling Film Festival has been bringing the best on screen to regional Australia since David Stratton founded it in 1974.

Showcasing a curated program of award-winning titles from around the world, fresh from their screenings at the Sydney Film Festival in June, we hope the festival will continue to delight and entertain Katherine audiences!

Faces Places - Friday 9 February 7.30pm

Call Me By Your Name - Saturday 10 February 1pm

The sumptuous new romance by Luca Guadagnino (I Am Love, SFF 2010) is a sensual story of first love set in the Italian countryside.

The Other Side of Hope - Saturday 10 February 4pm

Aki Kaurismäki's new film is a funny and melancholic tale of the friendship between a Syrian refugee and a Helsinki restaurant-owner. Berlinale Silver Bear winner for Best Director.

The Square - Saturday 10 February 7pm

Fresh from winning the Cannes Palme d’Or the new film by Ruben Östlund (Force Majeure) is a hilarious, outrageous satire of the art world.

Sami Blood - Sunday 11 February 1pm

The moving story of a reindeer-herding Sámi girl who severs ties with her family and her culture. An award-winner and hit at the Toronto, Sundance and Venice Film Festivals.

The Florida Project - Sunday 11 February 4pm

Summertime in a luridly coloured Florida down-at-heel motel. Mischievious six-year-old, Moonee, and her wonderfully rag-tag group of friends are living in the shadows of Disney World.
