On sale now is the first program strand in the 2018 Sydney Film Festival, ‘Essential Kaurismäki Retrospective’ curated by David Stratton, showcasing key work by one of the most distinctive and off-beat directors in cinema, including Leningrad Cowboys Go America, Le Havre, The Man Without a Past and The Match Factory Girl.
We have also launched the inaugural Screen Day Out program, which invites high school students into SFF cinemas to see Festival films that have been specially selected for their relevance to the NSW school curriculum. Find out more about Screen Day Out here.
Very soon, we’ll be providing a program preview of more than 20 new films and documentaries screening at SFF 2018 – and trust us, we’re pretty excited about the titles our programmers have been bringing back from film festivals around the world. Stay up to the minute via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and put Wednesday 4 April in your diary – that’s when the program preview drops.
If you love our printed program, you can even place an order for a copy of the 2018 guide to be delivered to your door in May.
Buy a flexipass and get prepared for the Festival, held in cinemas across Sydney from 6-17 June. Full program launches Wednesday 9 May.
