blur: To The End
Decades after their formation, Blur is as popular as ever. Musical polymath and frontman Damon Albarn has several other projects, from Gorillaz to operas. But when he summons his band mates – Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree – to record material for their first album in eight years (2023’s The Ballad of Darren), the friends are soon reunited in the studio. And this time, they’re also preparing for something that always eluded them – a show at Wembley Stadium. Featuring live performances of the band’s most iconic, much-loved songs, as well as footage of life in the studio and on the road, this film is an intimate moment in time with a band that has been at the heart of British cultural life and influence for over three decades.
