Kill
With mayhem on a scale you can hardly believe, it’s safe to say there has never been an Indian film – and very few action movies – like this before. It begins as a gloriously heaving romantic melodrama, but once the happy couple leave on a night train to New Delhi, all hell breaks loose and never stops. Barely a gun is sighted as charismatic off-duty commando Amrit Rathod (Lakshya, sensational) uses fists, feet, knives and whatever else comes to hand while tackling endless waves of supremely nasty bad guys. Director Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, with the valuable assistance of ace action choreographer Oh Se-young (Snowpiercer), ensures the action is brilliantly sustained to the explosive final destination. There is no quiet carriage on this train.
