Bianca Balbuena
Producer
Bianca Balbuena is the youngest awardee of the Asia Pacific Screen Awards FIAPF Award for her contributions to cinema. She has produced films that have competed in Cannes, Sundance, and won Berlinale Silver Bear and Venice Lion of the Future. Her recent, "VIỆT and NAM" which was in Cannes Film Festival, is competing here at the Sydney Film Festival.
Lucy Coleman
Writer, Director
Lucy Coleman's first TV series as Writer & Creator, EXPOSURE, premieres on June 20th on STAN. Lucy is the sole writer of the 6x30min series. Her shoestring-budget debut film HOT MESS, became a worldwide festival hit, and was nominated for Best Indie Feature Film at the 2020 AACTA Awards and Best Direction at the 2020 Australian Directors Guild Awards. Lucy’s short film LEAN IN is currently on the festival circuit with multiple wins, including Flickerfest, under its belt.
Bradley Liew
Director, Writer, Producer
Bradley Liew is the CEO of Epicmedia Productions Inc. His films include ‘Viet and 'Nam' by Truong Minh Quy (Cannes Un Certain Regard), 'Directors Factory Philippines’ (Cannes Directors’ Fortnight), 'Essential Truths of the Lake' by Lav Diaz (Locarno Competition) and 'Cu Li Never Cries' by Pham Ngoc Lan (Berlinale Best First Feature).
Marten Rabarts
Festival Director
Marten Rabarts was Director of the New Zealand International Film Festival 2019-21. This followed five years as Head of International affairs for EYE - Netherlands Film Museum in Amsterdam. Marten was Head of Development for NFDC India, in Mumbai 2012-15. Prior to this Rabarts was Artistic Director of the Binger Filmlab in Amsterdam for 12 years which developed Australian cult hit The Babadook by Jennifer Kent.
