The Bones
From Mongolia to Montana, dedicated scientists trawl the ground to understand the past and future of our climate-change impacted planet. Meanwhile, Gobi Desert skull hunters recklessly destroy precious sites. The Bones is full of unforgettable characters: one palaeontologist haggles over discoveries with Saharan landowners, while over in Montana, Jack Horner (a Jurassic Park advisor) faces stiff competition for anything T-Rex-related. This dusty, hard-scrabble world is a far cry from the Parisian auction house where a giant triceratops sells for 6.6 million euros. Exploring the intersection of science and capitalism, The Bones is a highly entertaining and cinematic feast directed by SFF alum Jeremy Xido.
