Synopsis
After years apart, author Ingrid (Moore) visits her terminally ill friend, war reporter Martha (Swinton), in the hospital. As they share stories their bond is rekindled, leading Martha to make a challenging request of Ingrid. With his signature exquisite visual style and led by two masterful performances, two-time Oscar winner Pedro Almodóvar’s latest is a surprisingly joyful rumination on mortality and human connection.
