Synopsis

In what feels like the distant future, nature has overgrown whole cities, and Cat peacefully spends days exploring, hunting and snoozing. When suddenly a flash flood of biblical proportions washes away the entire forest, a miracle sailboat offers Cat salvation from the rising waters that submerges mountain tops. Aboard the vessel, Cat meets Capybara, and along the way teams up with Lemur, Dog and Bird, who all embark on a magical journey in search of dry land, filled with danger, friendship and miracles. Latvian director, Gints Zilbalodis’ visionary, environmental, non-dialogue animation is mesmerising, dreamlike and unforgettable.

Flow might be a digital confection, but itu2019s also open, alive, elemental. In every sense, itu2019s a breath of fresh air.
