Synopsis
After being transferred from juvenile to adult prison, guilt-ridden Mel (Vincent Miller) is taken under the wing of Mark (Cosmo Jarvis), Australia’s most despised criminal, and Warren (Guy Pearce), a soon-to-be-a-paroled inmate. As a paternal triangle grows between them, increasingly intimate and manipulative, we see the most troubled of men grapple with the desire to be free; from their prison, their past and themselves.
A powerful debut feature film from short film Palme d’Or Winner Charles WIlliams, about institutionalisation, salvation and the chance for rehabilitation. Featuring astounding performances at its centre, Inside is an unflinching and moving reflection on incarceration and the jagged road to redemption.
Featuring Q&A with Director Charles Williams
