Sydney Film Festival is committed to bringing communities together to see films and meet filmmakers: from Sydneysiders at the State Theatre to regional centres across the country on the Travelling Film Festival tour.
As a not-for-profit organisation, the Festival relies on support from you – its audience. Ticket sales add up to less than 30% of the true cost of bringing the festival to your town. Government and corporate support make up some of the difference, but we need your help too.
Donations big, small and in-between help the Festival introduce generations of filmgoers to the power of cinematic voices and keep people in communities across regional Australia in touch with stories from all around the world.

Sydney Film festival acknowledges Australia’s First Nations People as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land, and pay respect to the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, upon whose Country SFF is based.
We honour the storytelling and culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across Australia.
