Armand
We meet Elizabeth (Reinsve) speeding in a car towards her son’s school. She’s been told that there’s been an incident with her six-year-old son, Armand. Upon arrival, she finds that it’s being handled by an inexperienced teacher, Sunna, and that the parents of Armand’s playmate, Jon, are also there. Jon was found with a scratch to his face and has accused Armand of violence – and of making vile, very unchildlike threats. Soon, there are other teachers involved, Armand is being accused of 'sexual deviation', and long-buried secrets and lies come to the fore. Veering between the serious and the absurdist, Armand is stylish, provocative and unforgettable.
